Welcome to Spread Happy! So glad you stopped by. This blog has been created to bring more positivity into our lives and the lives of others. It highlights the good that exists all around us, but that can sometimes be drowned out by the noise of negative news and inner self-talk. My hope is that together, in community, we can discover joy, celebrate kindness and cultivate connection.

When we bring more love, humor and beauty into our own lives, it’s inevitably shared with those around us; and when we take action to spread positivity to others, we experience more positive emotions ourselves. It’s a win-win! With that in mind, some themes will lean toward personal growth, some will focus more on outward actions, and others will include both.
Focusing our attention on the positive not only feels good, but is actually good for us. According to positive psychology research, positive emotion, altruism and connection increase both mental well-being and physical health. Let’s nurture our minds, bodies and spirits, and Spread Happy together!
